Keep every student flying between lessons.

Boplo connects your instructors to their students between lessons. Instructors debrief flights, set the next lesson with a prep checklist, sign off the syllabus and reply to questions. Every Monday they get a list of who needs a call.

Every student also gets Boplo Advanced, normally $99.99 a year each. From $999 a year for 25 students.

From one lesson to the next

Most of a student’s training happens between lessons, out of your sight. Boplo gives your instructors a light way to stay with them, a minute or two at a time.

  1. After the flight

    Debrief in a minute

The student’s logged flight is waiting. The instructor marks how it went, what went well and what to work on. It lands in the student’s logbook and on their phone.

  2. Before the next

    Prep that gets done

Set the next lesson and a short prep checklist. It goes straight into the student’s desk, with an optional reminder the evening before, so they arrive ready to fly.

Instructor sets it · student ticks it off
  3. In between

    Questions get answered

Students message their instructor from the app, and instructors reply from the dashboard. There’s no swapping personal numbers, and every thread stays with the school.

  4. Every Monday

    Know who needs a call

Each instructor gets an email listing students who’ve gone quiet, flights waiting for a debrief, unanswered messages and the week’s lessons.

Your instructors

One dashboard for every student they teach.

  • Waiting on you. Unread messages and dual flights without a debrief, all in one list.
  • Syllabus sign-off. Mark lessons in progress or signed off. The student sees who signed and when.
  • Students who are drifting. Anyone who hasn’t flown in three weeks, or joined but never started.
  • The whole record. Hours against the minimum, solo time, exam dates, mock exam scores and the student’s own notes.

Your students

Boplo Advanced, paid for by your school.

  • Their instructor’s feedback on each flight, kept with the flight in their logbook.
  • Lesson prep with a checklist, questions for the instructor and an optional reminder the night before.
  • Study tools. Practice by subject and mock exams at the FAA or UK CAA pass mark.
  • Practice and planning. Landing practice in the 3D simulator, plus nav logs, weather and preflight tools.

Does it pay for itself?

A student who stops flying takes the rest of their training budget with them. Put in your own numbers.

Keeping one student who would otherwise have quit is worth about

$7,500

That’s more than 7 times the cost of a year of Boplo for 25 students.

An estimate from your inputs, not a promise of results. Boplo helps you notice and support students, and your instructors do the rest.

Students choose to join

Before joining, a student sees exactly what your instructors will see and do: their flights and hours, lesson notes, syllabus progress, exam dates and scores, and next lesson. Instructors can debrief flights, set the next lesson and sign off lessons. Students can leave at any time and keep all their records.

It supports your training, it doesn’t replace it

Boplo doesn’t replace your syllabus, your instructors, your scheduling software or the official logbook. Instructors can’t change a student’s flights or notes, and nothing in Boplo authorises a flight or counts as an endorsement.

Questions

Does it replace our scheduling or billing software?

No. Boplo doesn’t book aircraft or bill students. It sits alongside whatever you use for that, and covers the part those tools don’t: what students do between lessons.

How long does a debrief take an instructor?

About a minute. Pick how it went, then write one line on what went well and one on what to work on. Students see it straight away, and instructors can edit it later.

Do instructors need to install anything?

No. Boplo runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, and can be added to the home screen like an app. Instructors join with your instructor code.

Do students pay anything?

No. While they’re members of your school, Advanced is covered by your plan. If a student already pays for Advanced themselves, they can cancel their own subscription from Plan & billing.

Does it work for FAA and UK schools?

Yes. Students choose their country and licence, and Boplo follows the matching syllabus: FAA Private Pilot, UK PPL(A) and NPPL, and EASA PPL(A). Other countries get a general ICAO outline.

Can instructors turn off the weekly email?

Yes, with one click at the bottom of it. It only goes out when there’s something to act on.

Can we cancel?

Yes, any time from Billing and invoices on your school dashboard. Your plan runs to the end of the year you’ve paid for. After that, students move to the Free plan and keep their records.

Can we pay by invoice or bank transfer?

For larger schools, yes. Get in touch with your details.
